CCAPP's 20th Anniversary Conference
Celebrating Two Decades of Discovery in Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics
June 10–12, 2026 | The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio
The Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics (CCAPP) at The Ohio State University is a world-leading interdisciplinary research center exploring the deepest questions about the universe — from the smallest particles to the largest cosmic structures. Founded in 2006, CCAPP unites faculty, postdoctoral scholars, and students from the Departments of Physics and Astronomy to pursue collaborative research that spans theory, observation, and experiment. Its mission includes advancing studies of dark energy, dark matter, the origin of cosmic structure, and the highest-energy particles in nature, while mentoring the next generation of scientists and engaging the public through workshops, seminars, and outreach activities.
At CCAPP, investigators work together on some of the most ambitious scientific experiments and discoveries in modern science, leveraging cross-disciplinary collaboration rather than isolated labs. This unique cooperative culture makes CCAPP a hub for tackling the universe’s biggest mysteries.
We invite locals, alumni, partners, and friends of CCAPP to join us for 2.5 days of scientific exchange, reflection, and community celebration on the Ohio State campus.
