Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

DES

The Dark Energy Survey (DES) is an international, collaborative effort to map the night sky. Their mission is to capture and map hundreds of thousands of  galaxies as well as define patterns in the cosmos that will lead to better definition of dark energy that is expanding our universe. This group has been in existence since 2013. There are more than 400 individuals working with DES and they are from a multitude of countries.
