Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

ARA

The Askaryan Radio Array (ARA) is a neutrino detector at the South Pole. It measures and detects high energy neutrinos that pass through it daily. The sensors are buried in the ice approximately 200m deep. These neutrinos the ARA look for are from cosmic rays that are not able to be bent by magnetic fields. These high energy rays are under study so we can better determine their origins.
