ANITA

The ANtarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (ANITA) is a large telescope used over Antarctica. This telescope flies over Antarctica to detect high energy neutrinos thanks to a large air balloon apparatus it is connected to. ANITA uses the Askaryan effect to detect the neutrinos. In depth details on the studies and why neutrinos are important can be found on the website.
