2020 SciAccess Conference with astronaut Soyeon Yi

Ohio State's Department of Astronomy, in partnership with NASA and the SciAccess Initiative, is hosting a free, virtual conference June 29. This free all-day event will be dedicated to promoting disability inclusion and equity in astronomy and the STEM fields. It will feature a keynote presentation from Dr. Soyeon Yi, the first and only South Korean astronaut. It will also include ASL interpreting and live CART captioning.

The 2020 SciAccess Conference is the culmination of the Making Space for All series, a new astronomy webinar series featuring the work and voices of underrepresented scientists and students in the astrophysics community. Join Anna Voelker, the Department of Astronomy's and CCAPP's Coordinator of Outreach Programs, for public Q&A sessions and live astronomy interviews each Thursday at 3 p.m. EDT.
