CCAPP, Mathematics, and Music Department, in partnership with the Erdos Institute, is continuing to host the Invitations to Industry seminar series. Details at https://www.erdosinstitute.org/invitations-to-industry.
This event is designed to connect academia and industry, by inviting Ph.Ds who are now working in industry to come and give a talk. In this talk, we'll gain insight on the experience of working in industry, how to make transition from academia to industry, and what preparations are needed to do that transition process. We hope this event would be useful, especially for students and postdocs, who consider a career in industry (even as a back-up plan), or just to broaden their horizon beyond academia.
For the upcoming talk, we're happy to welcome:
Katie Sasso, Ph.D.
Data Scientist at Columbus Collaboratory
