Welcome to our October 2017 Event!
Please join the Friends of Ohio State Astronomy & Astrophysics (FOSAA) for our October 21, 2017 event! This FOSAA event will include an exciting show in the spectacular Arne Slettebak Planetarium and feature several short talks by Ohio State researchers, who will describe recent discoveries at the frontiers of their fields, at a level accessible to all. Following these presentations, an informal lunch with Ohio State faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and students will give you the chance to ask all of your questions about planets, stars, galaxies, and the universe, and to learn more about astronomy and astrophysics research at Ohio State.

- Lunch: 12:30 pm — 1:30 pm

- The planetarium show will take place in Arne Slettebak Planetarium of Smith Laboratorylocated at 174 West 18th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43210. Session 1 will start here.
- Talks will take place in Room 1005 of Smith Laboratory located at 174 West 18th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43210. Session 2 will start here.
- Lunch will be served in the Atrium of the Physics Research Building, which is across the street from Smith Lab.
