Get your sci-fi questions and Halloween costumes ready for next week! On Wednesday, October 28, we are hosting a Friends of Ohio State Astronomy and Astrophysics (FOSAA) Star Trek Movie Panel to delve into the science behind the Star Trek Universe. As part of this program, we are hosting a Halloween costume contest and giving away free telescopes to the best costumes of the evening!
How to participate?

b) Attend the event on October 28.
c) Post a picture of yourself in your costume to the Astronomy Department Facebook page between October 28 and October 31 to enter! https://www.facebook.com/OSUAstronomy
If you don’t have a Facebook, you can still join in the fun by uploading your photo to this Google folder! This method of entry should only be done if you don’t have Facebook.
This special FOSAA event will begin at 7:00 PM ET with two research talks from our PhD students:
