Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

ASAS-SN

The "All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae" (ASAS-SN) project surveys the entire visible night sky to the 18th magnitude ( 50,000 times deeper than human eye). ASAS-SN currently consists of 24 telescopes, distributed around the globe. The survey is designed to automatically track the night sky to lead to important discoveries to potentially transform and propel the current field of astrophysics.

The Ohio State University Team of Scientists collaborating on ASAS-SN include Chris Kochanek, Kris Stanek, Tharindu Jayasinghe, Patrick Vallely, Connor Basinger, Zachary Way, Subhash Bose, Jack Neustadt, John Beacom, Todd Thompson, Johnny Greco, and David Will.
