Halo Occupation Modeling of Galaxy Clustering in the SDSS Mini-Workshop

  • Monday March 10 through Wednesday March 12, 2008

  • This mini workshop will focus on preparations for analyses of galaxy clustering and weak lensing measurements in the final data sets from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey.

  • The informal talks and extended discussions were very valuable in helping us thrash out some of the key technical issues related to halo occupation models and organize ourselves for analyses we hope to carry out. Overall the meeting helped push along a half-dozen papers and probably stimulated two or three new ones.

  • Organized by David Weinberg.
