Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

PRB Mezzanine

CCAPP hosts social events in its home on the mezzanine of the Physics Research Building, in an open space that overlooks the four-story PRB atrium. There, visitors can examine a phototube from the Super-Kamiokande neutrino detector under Japan’s Mt. Ikeno, which CCAPP Director John Beacom works with, and previously used telescope plug plates. In addition to hosting guests in the mezzanine area, once a month faculty, postdocs and students use the space for a Friday afternoon get-together to connect with each other and partake in good conversation.
