Astronomy Professor Jennifer Johnson has re-created a periodic table color-coded with the cosmic origins of all the elements. The table draws on research from astronomers and physicists who studied the universe and its origins and it can be used when it's helpful to know where the elements come from. Hydrogen, the most common element in the universe, was produced during the Big Bang 13.4 million years ago.
