CCAPP Seminar: "Cosmic Concordance?" Eduardo Rozo (Arizona)
Tensions between cosmological parameter inferences based on Planck’s measurements of the Cosmic Microwave Background are currently in tension with various measurements of the late time Universe. I will introduce the currently standard LCDM cosmological paradigm, and discuss the evidence against it, presenting my own take on how everything might fit together at the end of the day. Hopefully one thing will be clear by the end: we’re in the middle of one of the most interesting periods in cosmology of the past 15 years!
