Astronomy on Tap

Science is even better with beer!

Brought to Columbus in 2013 by OSU Astronomer Demitri Muna, Astronomy on Tap is a monthly free event hosted by the OSU Astronomy Department and CCAPP. Hosted at a local restaurant and bar, Strongwater, researchers bring in engaging science presentations on topics ranging from planets to black holes to the beginning of the Universe, and present them at a level of understanding easy for any non-scientist. Most months include games and prizes! With each event, there will also be plenty of time to ask questions and interact with researchers.

For more information about upcoming events, follow them on Twitter @astronomyontap, Facebook, or sign up for their email newsletter on their Website.

Astronomy on Tap was founded in NYC by Meg Schwamb and is a world-wide outreach effort. Events are held in a variety of cities outside Columbus as well.
